Our Services
Work Services
Doing a real job - in a real work environment - provides dignity and self respect.
Peak Community Services helps men and women with developmental disabilities determine their interests and skills. Direct support professionals provide support and coaching in each job environment.
Employment Services
Peak Community Services works with a large number of businesses in the community to develop and maintain competitive jobs for men and women with disabilities.
In partnership with these businesses, Peak Community Services helps individuals reach for their dreams. Jobs are developed and a job coach is assigned to teach specific job skills and to support individuals along the way.
Our Business Partners
Businesses that employ adults with developmental disabilities are eligible for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit. But more importantly, they provide a valuable service to the community by reducing the cost of support services, saving tax dollars, encouraging self-sufficiency, and providing vocational rehabilitation.

Direct support professionals provide support as these individuals learn to do the everyday things that come with living in their own apartments and/or houses.
Family Support Services
Peak Community Services provides support and respite services to families who have children or adults with developmental disabilities.
Respite services are provided as temporary relief for the primary caregiver. Other services are available through state and federally-funded programs.
We provide support:
•In-home: the direct support professional comes to your home to provide support.
•Out-of-home: support is provided in the home of the direct support professional.
•In the community: support is provided to participate in community activities like swimming, therapeutic horseback riding, clubs, sporting events and shopping.
Funding for these programs comes from Medicaid Waiver or CHOICE programs. Yet there may be up to a 12 year wait for some funding from the State of Indiana. Email today to find out about getting on the Medicaid Waiver waiting list: info@peakcommunity.com
