How Does Peak Community Services Transport & Secure My Documents?
Storage Containers: We will provide your business with lockable containers. Your records manager, your document destruction staff and Peak Community Services’ destruction staff will be the only people with access to the containers and to your documents.
Transportation: Materials are transported from your business to our secure shredding facility. Our trucks are locked at all times and are never left unattended while in transit.
Destruction Facility: All documents will be delivered to and destroyed at the Erie Avenue Facility. Only staff that are certified to destroy documents or transport them, and that have signed confidentiality agreements, will be allowed in the building. The entire facility is secure.
How Does Peak Community Services Charge For Service?
Destruction services are priced according to weight of shredded material. There will be a token rental fee for secure containers and for transportation, but there will be no hidden charges or fees. The price per bin or per pound will be quoted up front.

How Will I Know When My Materials Have Been Destroyed?
Following the destruction of your materials, your business will receive a “Certificate of Destruction.” This document will contain the following information:
Pick-Up Location and Date;
Amount of shredded waste (number of containers or pounds shredded);
Destruction Certificate Document Number;
Destruction Certificate Date
Destruction Manager Signature
Are There Material Restrictions?
Yes. Peak Community Services provides document destruction services for “mixed office paper.” This includes stationary, copy paper, computer paper, envelopes, junk mail, and similar papers. Newspapers, catalogs or magazines will NOT be accepted. We can suggest acceptable ways to recycle those products.
